India: Around the World in 80 Days
In the book “Around the World in 80 Days”, the main character, Phileas Fogg, his servant, Passepartout, and a secret detective, Mr. Fix are in India for a time. In this week’s essay, I am going to tell you a little bit about this country.
The parts of India that have been built on are just as beautiful as the nature. It must smell good in the markets or other places where the people buy items because of the tasty food and all the spices being sold. I have heard that Indian food is delicious.
They also have many animals in India. Some examples would be Indian wolves, snow leopards, Bengal foxes, Indian rhinoceroses, golden eagles, Indian cobras, Asiatic lions, Bengal tigers, and gray langurs. However, there is one animal that is very well known in India: The Indian elephant.
If you have read “Around the World in 80 Days”, you would know that while they were in India, they were working on the railway while they were on the train. Because of this, they had to get off the train. While they were walking in the Indian forests, they found an elephant, which they eventually rode to where they needed to go.
Of course, you can’t just be in India to travel around the world. What I mean is they were not just in India. However, I find India very interesting to study and/or write about, and I hope you do too.
