Summary of English 6 Class
This sixth grade English course was great! I learned so much and reviewed everything I could have forgotten about. I also read many new books that I loved. In this essay I will explain why this course was helpful to me this year.
This course was very useful to me. It has helped me to learn how to write better. Every writing assignment has allowed me to get better with my writing! All the vocabulary words have also helped me think of better words to use in my writing and my speech instead of using the same words repeatedly. These vocabulary words have helped me understand words better as well.
I really like this course for many reasons. One of them is how the course was split into two sections, the first learning about grammar. I love how I got to review everything and learn more as I am going. The second part was literature. I also love reading so many books that are so interesting and adventurous. As I mentioned, I also love all the vocabulary words with both the literature section and the grammar section.
There are not very many things I disliked about the course, but one thing was how I was supposed to do a couple things that I was not as capable of doing, like finding and interviewing an expert for my research paper. My topic was a fennec fox, and it was very difficult to find an expert on fennec foxes; therefore, I could not. Besides that, I think the class was great.
I read lots of books throughout the literature class, but I think my favorite was The Cat of Bubastis. I just love the mystery, culture, religion, and adventure and learning about all of it. I still think that The Cat of Bubastis is a great book that anyone should read.
This English course was great. I learned much more, and it helped me so much with my reading, writing, and speaking! I am so excited to do the seventh grade English course, too!
