Holmes Saves the Day Again Queen’s Blue Carbuncle Restored!

Detective Sherlock Holmes discovers the whereabouts of the mysterious missing blue carbuncle belonging to the queen! Said to have been stolen by John Horder, the real criminal was James Ryder, and with the help of one of the queen’s household maids, stole our beloved queen’s priced blue carbuncle. They stole the gem and framed Horder, because it would be believable that he stole it, for he has a criminal past. Hidden in a Christmas goose by Ryder, the blue carbuncle was sold to Horder, who lost the goose. Sure enough, Holmes found it along with a hat and intended to give it back to the owner. While somebody came to pick up the hat, the goose seemed to belong to no one. After being turned into the police by Holmes himself, the prized possession of the queen is detected and found by the police. Sherlock Holmes, being his intelligent and incredible self, located Horder, whom the detective believed was the criminal of this crime. John Horder explained to Sherlock that it was not him, even though he did many crimes; he was framed. With this information in mind, Holmes discovered the real culprit, James Ryder, but did not turn him over to the police. “It is the season for forgiveness. I will not proceed with the case, as Ryder will never testify against Horner, which means the accused man will go free.” stated Holmes. The gem is now returned to the queen, who, of course, is very grateful. Dr. Watson writes down Holmes’s story again.
